Data provided by users
This includes: user profile: we collect data when users create or update their Makas accounts. This may include name, email, phone/mobile number, login name and password, address, payment or banking information (including relevant payment verification information) and date of birth. For more information, please refer to the section entitled “How we use personal data”.
Demographic data: we may collect demographic data about users, including through user surveys.
User content: we collect information that users submit when they contact Makas customer support, submit ratings or complaints. This may include notes, photographs, or other recordings collected by users.
Data generated while using our services
This includes, location data: we collect accurate or approximate location data from the user’s mobile device if enabled by the user to do so. For drivers and our partners, Makas collects this data when the application is running in the foreground (the application is open and on the screen) or background (the application is open but not on the screen) of their mobile device.
Transaction information: we collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including the type of services requested or provided, order details, arrival information, date and time the service was provided, the calculated amount and payment method. In addition, if someone uses your promotion code, we may associate your name with that person.
Usage data: we collect data about how users interact with our services. This includes data such as access dates and Times, features of the application or pages viewed, application crashes, other system activity, browser type, Third-party sites or services used before interacting with our services. In some cases, we collect this data through cookies, pixels, tags and similar tracking technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers..
Device data: we may collect data about the devices used to access our services, including device models and IP address device data: for the device, operating systems, versions, programs, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, serial numbers, device traffic data and mobile network data.

The place automation Foundation, the owner of the Makas application, uses the data for several purposes:
Improving the service of users – the information provided makes it easier for us to communicate with users and fulfill their requests more efficiently.
Improving the personal user experience – we may use the information we collect in order to study how the site and the application are used in aggregate and make it easier for us to know the needs of users as a group and thus improve the characteristics provided to them.
Improving the site and application – we receive feedback and suggestions from users in order to improve the services and features to their liking.
Sending periodic updates via e – mail-we may use e-mail to users in order to send them periodic bulletins. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries or requests.
Conducting internal processes necessary for the provision of our services, including troubleshooting software errors and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing and research; monitoring and analyzing usage and activity trends.
Legal procedures and requirements. We may use the personal data we collect to investigate or process claims or disputes related to the use of scissor services, or as permitted by applicable law, or at the request of regulators, government agencies and official inquiries.

Makas may share user’s personal data other than as described in this notice if we have notified the user and they have agreed to share only.
How we store information
We use internationally approved secure methods of collecting, storing and analyzing data, in order to prevent access to it from unauthorized parties, as well as to prevent its modification, destruction or disclosure of methods of its preservation. This data includes the name and mobile number, as well as the exchange of data with the server.

This page (together with the documents referred to therein) tells you about the terms of service (“terms”) that explain to you when ordering any service or product from the menu items (“items”) of our website or scissor applications on mobile devices “mobile” and mobile and related services (each referred to as the “application”)

Before you place any order. This document “terms of service” was updated on October 8, 2022.
If you are a consumer, you have certain legal rights when ordering services using our application. Your legal rights are not affected by these terms, which apply in addition to and do not replace them. When you set up your account with scissors, you confirm that you agree to these terms.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement (the “agreement”) between you and scissors. This agreement governs your use of the Makas Applications, website, call center and technology platform (collectively, the “Makas platform”).
Information about scissors
Atmatat Makan for communications and information technology corporation submits and operates a reservation and purchase service request according to customer requests from Barber and beauty items, recreation centers, or regular individuals who comply with the laws of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia at local salons or centers in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (represented by the “establishment” or the pronouns of ownership “we”, “Our” or “scissors”), which was established in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to license No. 5850120386
The idea of scissor services is to connect salons, centers or regular individuals with freelancers with whom we partner (” partners”) through the scissor application via the internet, display all their services, materials and products to customers, allow scissor customers to request specific services or items from them and then perform the booking task to receive the service, called(“service”). Where you can book from one of the partners, Makas acts as an agent on behalf of this partner to finalize your booking from the system and application, and to manage your experience throughout the booking process..
Before you can place service orders for items using our app, you need to open an account with scissors. When you open the account, you can create a password, or a secure login method, and you may also need to provide personal information in addition to credit card details. Any password you create, or other secure login method, must be kept confidential, and prevent others from accessing your email account or mobile phone.
If someone else uses these methods to access your account , you will be responsible for paying for any of the items you request, and we are not responsible for any other losses you suffer, unless the person using your password got it because we did not keep it safe.
You can close your account at any time by requesting to do so in the Account section of our website on the application or contacting us using the contact details provided above. We may suspend your access to your account, or close it permanently, if we believe that your account has been used by someone else. We may also permanently close your account if, in our opinion, you abuse our service (for example, by applying for a refund or credit that we do not consider you entitled to, making repeated unreasonable complaints, mistreating our employees, or any other valid reason) and we will refund any remaining balance to your account that you received correctly (not including offers and credits granted by Makas to motivate customers as free credits) by our customer service team through your registered credit card or bank transfer using your bank details banking (provided that you have provided it to us).
All available balances within your application wallet for future use are considered valid, taking into account the duration of the remaining balance. The validity period remains valid for only six months from the date of the last use or deposit, and then the balance is deleted in full without committing any compensation.
All our partner salons or centers decide to set their own opening hours. This means that the availability of our services depends on the partners in your region..
When booking any service through our app, before it is confirmed, it needs to be accepted by US or by the partner. We will send you an alert as a notification if your request is accepted (“confirmation notification”). All items are subject to availability times. This contract for the supply of any item you have ordered comes into force when we send a confirmation notice. You are responsible for paying for all items ordered using your account, and for complying with these terms, even if you have ordered the item for someone else. Salons or beauty centers may use allergenic substances when using the service and you should pay attention to the cleanliness of all the tools that will be used to carry out the service by you. Please alert the partner before starting the implementation of the required service if you suffer from allergies. Makas cannot guarantee that any of the items offered by our partners are free of allergens.
After booking confirmation
You must be present at the appointment you have booked exactly to avoid any damage that may result in other partner appointments that are made through their stores or customers who are in their stores to request the service from them without any reservation. In case you are not available on time, the partner will inform us via the application that you are not available on time and we will give you another opportunity to schedule another one-time reservation only for the same partner and the person you have selected to provide the service.
In the event that the reservation is rebooked by another specified date and you do not show up by the specified date again, we will cancel your reservation and retain the amount of the service paid to the partner..
Your rights, if there is something wrong with our items
You have the legal right to receive a service that complies with its description of the request, which is of satisfactory quality and which complies with any specific requirements that you tell us about (and we agree to) before you make your reservation. If you believe that the items that have been implemented do not comply with these legal rights, please notify us directly for information. We may ask for pictures showing the problem, if there is something that can be seen by checking the items. We will provide the refund amount or deposit the account balance into your respective wallet at the Makas application, in connection with the affected part of the service, unless we have reasonable reason to believe that the problem occurred after the implementation of the service. Before processing the refund amount or account balance, we may take into account relevant factors including the details of the service, as well as the history of your account, what happened when you came to perform the service and information from the partner.
You can cancel your booking without charge at any time at least 6 hours before the booking date, please directly cancel via the Makas application. You cannot cancel a booking if there are 6 hours or less left before the scheduled booking time. You may be notified by Makas and/or the partner through the application that the reservation has been canceled due to circumstances beyond their control at any time. In this case, you will not be charged for any orders canceled by US or by the partner, and we will compensate you for any payment already made using the same method that you used to pay for your order.
The Makas application gives you another opportunity only once after the payment process to make another reservation on a new date and time, and this is based on the following conditions: you can re-book if the remaining time for the booking appointment is 6 hours or less until the previously booked appointment starts.
Prices, payment and offers
Makas uses a dynamic pricing operating system all the time for issued invoices , and the total price of your order will be indicated on the checkout page on the application, including prices for services and products, applicable service charges and taxes, which include the following details: –
Number and quality of services and products
The unit price, according to the partner’s price list and shown on the Makas application
VAT is inclusive of products and services and includes 15% of the total value provided by scissors.
The facts of the time and date of application.
Invoice number and VAT license number
The total value of the invoice to be settled by the customer.
This means that the prices of items may change during browsing. They can change prices at any time at the discretion of partners. You will be notified of any service fees offered and taxes applied prior to purchase on the checkout page in the Makas application.
All prices provided according to the invoice issued on the Makas application will be identical to the claim according to the partner’s invoice in addition to VAT. No changes will affect existing confirmed orders, unless there is a clear pricing error. Price changes will not affect any in-process orders that appear inside your basket, provided that the order is completed during the time the basket is created. If you do not finish selecting items during the order creation, the items will be removed from your basket automatically 5 minutes after they are in your basket and click on the payment order.
If there is a clear error in the pricing, we will notify you as soon as possible and you will have the option to confirm the reservation at the original price or cancel at no cost and with a full refund of any funds already paid into the client’s wallet on the Makas application so that the amount will be used for a maximum of six months from the date of the last deposit to the wallet. Payment for all prices of items can be made on our application, by credit cards, debit from the customer’s wallet at scissors, or other payment methods provided by scissors. As soon as your order is confirmed, your credit or debit card and the specified total amount of payment will be authorized (in relation to all payments made by credit or debit cards).
Payment is made directly to Makas who act as an agent on behalf of the partner only. Payment can also be made using the account balance. Use of these is subject to Makas account credit terms.
When payment by bank payment card (bank credit cards) via the internet is possible, this will be indicated on our application before you place your order. Bank payments will be accepted directly.”.
The partner sometimes offers to provide special offers through our application. These statuses are visible when looking at the list of partner services only through the Makas application. These offers are at the discretion of the partners. Unless the terms of the offer specify a specific period or less for which the offer will be available, it can be withdrawn at any time, unless you have already placed an order to order based on the offer and we have sent you a confirmation notice.
Our responsibility for the loss or damage you suffer
We are liable to you for any loss or damage suffered by you that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill in connection with your use of our services. We are not responsible for any unexpected loss or damage. Loss or damage “expected” is if it is clear that it will happen, or if you tell us that it may happen, for example if you tell us about certain circumstances that may increase the loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms before you place an order. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you for loss or damage where it is illegal to do so. This includes any liability for personal injury caused by our failure, or the failure of our employees, agents, subcontractors, or partners to use reasonable care and skill; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for violation of your legal rights in connection with the terms, as summarized in Part 7 above. Subject to the preceding paragraph, we are not responsible for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of your breach of these terms, or as a result of any failure in computer technology hardware or software other than failure in our applications.
If we have or you have any right to enforce these terms against the other, this right will not be lost even if the person who has the right to delay its enforcement, or waives his right to enforce it in any case. If a court or other authority determines that any part of these terms is illegal or ineffective, the rest of the terms will not be affected and will remain in effect.
We may change these terms from time to time. If we make any changes that affect your rights in relation to our service, we will notify you. Changes to the terms will not affect any orders that you placed at the place where we sent the confirmation notification. These terms are governed by the law of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and you can file legal proceedings related to our service in the courts of the competent authority. The Arabic language in this document is the approved language with reference to the conditions described above.
